Principal's Message

Welcome to Porterdale Elementary School, home of the RAMS!

At PDES, we are committed to providing students with a highly rigorous, engaging, and differentiated learning experience every day.

Parent and community involvement is critical to our success.    We ask that you also help at home to ensure your child’s academic success.  Be sure that your child goes to bed on time each night, and that he or she attends school every day on time.  Help your child establish a homework routine, and be sure that he or she reads daily at home.   Contact your child’s teacher frequently to be sure he or she is performing on grade level academically.

Feel free to reach out to me at any time if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions.

Sincerely,

Clydia Newell

Principal
